Hammermills

You can use Type AB Hammermills in a wide variety of applications. The type of material you are reducing determines the rotor configuration, and the product size you desire determines the screen bar arrangement. For pulverizing friable materials like limestone, the unit comes with rectangular swing hammers. For shredding materials such as waste paper, fiberglass mats and rubber, or, when the application requires the machine to run at slow speed- choose rigid hammers.

You can operate any Type AB Hammermill as either a Type A or Type B unit by simply changing the feed point. Just reposition the feed cover plate to suit your application. The Type A position introduces the feed ahead of the vertical center line of the rotor, while Type B delivers the feed on or behind the line.
